Hello All,
I came across a nice 1902 -O Morgan Dollar with a closed 9 and the lower part of the 2 filled which looks more like a VAM 1 which is marked as non existent currently. Can you please check the pictures and confirm if it's rare and what will be the potential value of it. Appreciate all your help.
Thanks!
Ben

Re: 1902-O Morgan Dollar possible VAM 1???
Maybe a VAM-24? Hard too tell form the shots. C4 reverse with the mintmark set high and right. Normal date, left side of normal. Looks like probably a doubled profile, but impossible to really tell. latedatemorganguy (Alan) is the expert on this date and will come around at some point.

Your coin matches the base attributes of the VAM-52. But can't tell for sure. Would need clearer photos of certain aspects of your coin if possible. The VAM-52 is a common 02-O. here is an attribution guide for the 1902-O Filled 2 die pairs.
