Sending 2021 Morgans/Peace for grading-

When the new Morgans ship-
Will you be sending to PCGS/NGC for grading?
Will you leave in original Govt. Package or pack into flips?

I dont know yet. I guess it depends if they look like they can get a 70. If not I dont think it will be worth it unless you just want them slabbed to save space.

Mine will go to PCGS.
And I just checked my order status... the D & S coins have moved to "processing" from "backordered".

Don't if I'll have them slabbed either, my D & S are now in processing and the Peace is still backordered

As a follow-up, did everyone catch the article in the recent Oct Numismatist that the mint is considering a 2022 mintage?

I'll be sending them to my buyer for Obscene Profit™. With some of that profit, I'll buy some slabbed coins from him next year that I can inspect for spots.

I will be keeping them in the original government packaging. Got 3 each of the P,D,S and Peace. Will be keeping 2 of each (one for each son) and selling or trading the third of each set. I only got 2 of the O Privy Mark, so those go to the sets for the boys. Still need to find the CCs. Hopefully, I can trade for them or I will have to wait and hope that I can find them reasonably priced on the secondary market. When I do sell the extra PDS and Peace, will likely do it here and not on ebay.

Is there any word yet... anything at all... about how PCGS is going to label them?

My D,S ,O and CC privy are all showing processing . I guess these are technically all privy coins since they are all minted in Philly if I recall correctly. Bummer the Denver mint and San Francisco mints couldn’t of minted there own.

According to coinweek, D and S mint 2021 Morgans are indeed minted at Denver and SF, hence the use of a mint mark rather than a privy mark.

Well that’s good to hear . I can not remember where I read they where being minted in Philly but that’s what has been on my mind.
