Anything I reduce down to 90 x 90 is still 22-23 kb. If I make it 6kb it looks like a smudge. Any reason the avatar pics need to be so small and is there anyway to get one that small that doesn't look totally pixelated and blurry? thanks.

Are you saving as JPEG or as some other format? Try saving as a smaller size, like 64x64. Many avatars are smaller than that. You could also e-mail me the image you are trying to use.

Thanks messydesk. I figured it out. I was making it the right dimensions but wasn't using a lower quality to save it. I've got it now. Appreciate it.
