1921 Peace PROBABLE Obv. 1G/Rev. 1F2 (Edited)

Post by shortnock » Fri Aug 06, 2021 3:29 am

More Photos added. Perhaps Dr. Close may concur with assumption.

1921 Peace in hand has PROBABLE obverse of 1G. And reverse of 1F2. Is this a known die pairing?

'Druther have this 1921 Peace for $100.00, rather than the 2021 Peace for $85.00.

The file lines above WE do not match VAM 1H. I cannot see whether or not there is the die scratch on E of ONE of VAM 1F.
Hope this is helpful.

Photos show diagnostics to indicate '21 Peace reverse of 1F (1 or 2 ?) Scratces in the M, in UNUM in original post, plus these:

Probably obverse of 1G, NOT 1H. Upon further of notes, recorded 1H by mistake. Here are closeups that MAY confirm this specimen to be 1H Obverse/1F Reverse. Will Dr. Close concur? And what are those pimples on the obverse near ear area?
