Wonder if anyone has seen this VAM in late die state without die chip on inside bottom of 2 ?
My ANACS MS 64 VAM 32A displays obverse die crack from nose down between left stars 3 -4 with possible displaced field. Displaced field break also visible at left star 2 bottom and left.
Reverse "Capped A" Die Break also shows beveled fields above left and right wing tips at denticles.
This specimen is currently under review by Leroy.

Here's my coin. It has the nose crack, but nothing approaching a DFB resulting from it, and the star L2 cracks don't look DFB-ish either:
When in doubt... don't.

Thanks Dennis for your photos. Die crack thru date without die chip on 2 is very similar to my specimen.

I have two VAM 32A's. One with the die break in the bottom of the 2 and one without. The one without the die break appears to be a bit earlier then Dennis'.

Back from Leroy - "VAM 32A Revised. Yes, has added displaced field at 2nd left star at bottom left. Rev may have slightly beveled field at top left & rt fields, but toning precludes getting good photo of curvature-- so pass on listing it."
Plate photo and letter will be posted at a later date.
