Intresting EDS 1878 PL
Well I found this coin on the BAY, late last week. Its a rather common 1878 P V-121. This one has a no less than high PL and closer to DMPL rev, and a solid PL OB. The doubled "P" and the R are much sharper and have more going on than the MS MS-63 I own. It looks like no PL coins are known in the SSDC registry, this one will be on its way to John B for a VSS grade and attribution with a fair amount of others today.

Hi Russ; Was wondering where you were as you have been pretty quiet. I notice a bunch of ol timers
are mighty quiet as well. Probally busy working etc
Congrads on the vam 21 pick- I have always been a PL/DMPL advocate and prices have remained
healthy despite the Numismatic premium downturn/crash.
Personally - i have been offloading high grades PL/especially DMPL that are higher dollar Morgans
and buying silver bullion rounds as their so darn cheap. Regards Scott The Oregon Collection

I just went through the listing for this one and wow, I had no idea an obverse die had that kind of patch for the R in PLURIBUS. Nice pick Russ!
