pixs for 1888-O VAM 16 page
There are currently zero photos on the VAMworld attribution page.
These were taken with an ANACS-attributed MS61 DMPL (yes, it has a nasty case pf PVC measles.)
It was a challenge to find anything that might serve as PUPs. These are the best I could find:

A picture of the doubled 2nd 8 would be welcome, since that's in the specification.

Boy, "Second 8 doubled slightly at bottom" is an understatement. I only slightly see it at what must be about 30x magnification:

Calling the above coin a 'FAR DATE" may be gilding the lily just a bit.....
Re: pixs for 1888-O VAM 16 page
Looking at the VAM book now, it seems like there should be stronger doubling than what you're showing. Unfortunately, there's no shot of the date shown with the denticles, so I can't say whether the date position is a match for yours.

I have a V16, if I hold the coin upside down I think I see the doubling.

Does your coin have the scribbles and other PUPs I photographed?

Above is another shot of the 2nd 8 that perhaps shows the doubling better?

Perhaps. I think you need to bust it out, get rid of the PVC-pox, and run it through a PCGS bulk order.

Re: pixs for 1888-O VAM 16 page
I posted about a VAM-16 attributed by LVA some time ago. I don’t remember if it was on the old VW, or this one. It had proof like fields covered by some patina.
To me the major obverse pick up was the polished down lower jaw and the jaw neck junction.
I recognized this as a VAM-16 right away because of that.

The VAM page could sure use those pictures, now there are none.
