Jason, just fell from the tree, I swear!
I decided to pare down my collection and only keep my SCD and WOW! sets, but, by default, that means I'm also keeping my E set, for which this one will fill the biggest remaining hole!

nice to see people are still looking, and still finding. this is a really tough coin for several reasons. one, it is a very weak E and it takes little contact to wipe it out, and it appears to have happened later in the die life. finding one is a MAJOR accomplishment.

Without divulging which Clashed E it is, I memorized the clash mark location at eagle's right wing and the scratch thru the D of UNITED. I searched Ebay for a few weeks, and bought 5 coins trying to find one. The fifth coin was a winner. Paid common money and had 4 other coins that I released back into the stream. I thought mine was a MS coin, but alas, came back AU55.

It seems that it may be time to bring back the old "name that VAM" game of the past.
There are only like a (baker's) dozen E reverses fellas and only a few are P mints. I'll give you a couple better pics to help out... let us know when you got it!

I can attest to that. Got a great shot of Rob in the act. He had no clue I was shadowing him that day until he saw me in the bushes as he was coming out of the shop with it when I took the pic 🐿
