It's very difficult to accurately assess a coin's grade from pictures alone.
But yes, it does appear to be much nicer.
When in doubt... don't.

.... and DMPLs can get harshly graded because anything in the fields gets magnified attention. Any graded 60 or 61 are pretty deliberate. There is something not right enough about it. AU58 used to be like that - a catch-all market grade bin for true mint state coins that really were details coins but too nice to ostracize them.
(I had an 1878-S VAM-27 that ANACS had long ago graded AU58. Looked all the way MS62PL, but had an undeniable long scratch on the obverse. Still the nicest long nock I ever owned. The specialists here definitely know the coin.)

Regrading the 78-s Vam 27 ANACS net graded it 55.
It is in an old white holder.
Yep, light wipe on the OB field or it would be 62 PL

I almost always agree with yellow ANACS
...blue ones not so much
......old small holders are pretty accurate
