Wrong Vam attribution beware!
There’s a long nock vam 60 on fleebay in an NGC vf20 holder that I’ve been trying to get the seller to take it off the market with no success ,
I tried and contacted seller
But no answer,I would just hate for someone new to Vams to get burn
By thinking they’re buying a rare vam 60
When in reality NGC is got attribution all wrong
Hopefully someone helps me posting a link to it

Re: Wrong Vam attribution beware! It’s a Vam 57 NOT a Vam 60
It’s a Vam 57, I’ve also attempted to explain to the seller about this Issue six months ago.

Wait til you try to explain something like this to Heritage.
Re: Wrong Vam attribution beware!
I've done this several times over the years. And with Great Collections too. Both have always listened carefully and done the right thing.
When in doubt... don't.

Thanks jgrinz
For the link
Maybe if enough members bombard him
About it
He will end item
And do the right thing like Dennis said

I remember seeing that one a while back, had it in my watch list, then took it off since I did not think it was a 60; if memory serves me the coin has sold and been returned more than once too, which should be big red flag.

Re: 1878 s vam 60 NGC 20 Wrong Vam attribution beware! It’s a Vam 57
Some one just purchased a Vam 57 in a misattributed Vam 60 in a NGC 20 holder
Good luck!
Good luck!
Re: Wrong Vam attribution beware!
The real disturbing thing is this coin was posted for months and I am sure the dealer received feedback that it was mis-attributed. Oh well, folks should abide by Dr. Fey's motto...

Yes, I’ve alerted the seller multiple times.
The 78-s Vam 60 NGC 20 Cert number is 4737164-010 Is actually a Vam 57 type 1
I believe someone on the SSDC community will be in for a big disappointment.
