Scarce coin that seldom comes up for VAM-specified sale, and this is the highest graded example of just 3 I know about:
1890-S 2B (26A) 61 ANACS Oct-16 E $90
1890-S 2B (26A) 58 ANACS Oct-11 CS $400
1890-S 2B (26A) 55 ANACS Feb-17 E $65

ANACS, if anyone, should have this in its population report. Be sure to check VAM 26A, since that's what the VAM number was previously. Redfield holders come with their own collecting base and premiums, but I'm at a loss to guess if and how much in this case.

Yes, the Redfield holder does add value!

Ask the Squirrel if WOW VAMs add value...

I would check the SSDC census for a count. Of course, there are many others not in the census...

I actually check any Redfield 90-S for that break, but haven't found one yet... nice find!
The VAM isn't overly rare and the 2b is more common than the 29 by a fairly wide margin, but I mean, come on, any break like that has to be worth a little premium, right?
