Question for the 1878CC Experts. I picked up a 78CC coin in a PCGS MS63 holder. Get this, the holder is labeled 78S and was had for common 78S money.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1878-S-Morgan- ... 2749.l2649
It has the Obverse of the V17 with gouges in eye and nostril. But it does not have the wide CC MM. Cant match up reverse with another VAM. Sorry I cant post pictures. My question is was this Obv. married to another reverse ?
Thanks for any help. If it is not known paired up with another reverse then i'll figure out how to post pictures and put them up.
Did I peak any interest in the 78CC Gurus

Yup, that's a VAM 20. It's relatively common particularly in GSA holders. Kinda rare in a 78-S holder
often the crusher of hopes and dreams
