My 1A3 Terminal Break
I purchased this 1891-O VAM 1A3 awhile back and put it to the side (without looking at it) & somehow forgot about it. I recently picked it back up and saw just how big the dome break is on the reverse. It is by far larger than my other 1A3 dome breaks I have. It has to be close to the end of this die. It really competes for attention with the reverse "E" under the tail feathers. Only con to the coin is that it is cleaned XF40 imo. Thought I would share.

Neat. I have a v1A AU grading set in 50, 53, 55 & 58. Each different stages except two 1A4's and no 1A3.

You suck
Re: My 1A3 Terminal Break
Very cool coin, and tough die stage. If it's cleaned, it sure doesn't look too severe from the full-coin pictures.

Thanks for all the comments.
I remember back VW 1.0 days someone posted a series of pics showing the progression of the dome break. I thought I had saved that set of pics but I cannot find it on my computer. Anyone still have that?

Re: My 1A3 Terminal Break
Here is one I did a long while back, even before the 1A4 was listed. Not the best of coins.
Russ could probably put together a much better set of progression photos. Ignore the "stage" numbers as they were just references to the coins in my collection at the time.
