The main thing not matching up is the wings there way off on the 1b

NOT VAM 81. I am on the road this week so I do not have my books but i think you will find the key is in the central area of the (viewers) right wing.

V 55 & 75 share the same reverse. 75 would have a chip above cotton leaves in cap. Full coin pictures dont show well. 55 has a die chip below jaw line in hair curl. No pictures clearly show either. Close up pictures are very nice. Just doesn't show money shots. 55 is more likely. Only 150 VAMs to memorize :D

Leroy lists the V-55 and V-75A as acid treated; his description is "....raised dots, bands and lines with rough edges in the middle of the over polished eagle's left wing...…"
