Rob, I knew you would probably have one.

I remember the day I met you and Nate a the spring 2016 Baltimore show.

Man I miss that Kid :|

Very nice! I kind of wish I would have done that with an '83-O VAM22A he sent my way. I left it in the NGC plastic and just put my own label on it. And yeah, Nate is missed by all who knew him....

I have one in circulated condition, but not in one of Nate's slabs.
Nate had helped me learn the die markers, for the 1883 O vam 22A clashed E and I was lucky enough to have found one soon after.
It seems, that Jimmy (crapscape), doesn't share our opinion of how generous Nate was, in giving help to many of us learning, about vams, in John's (tmanhg) post below

I rotated your picture. Bert

Thank you Bert for fixing my photos.
I went back in my old emails and I stopped counting when I got 150.
He always was searching for the coins that I needed to fill the holes
in my collection. The 2 in the photo were extras of ones he had and
we horse traded.
Nate would call me from a coin show in his area to see if I wanted a coin
he saw that I needed, buy it and send it to me.
In Baltimore I had to leave early because my wife wanted to go home
and he wanted to know if he could search the dealers for 1885-P's that I
needed. I gave him him some cash as I left and he bought me 2 coins.
That's why I miss him, you couldn't ask for a better person than Nate

Hi Mike, I hope I got your name right.
I was talking to John (tmanhg) earlier, about Nate and he said Nate was like a son to him.
I hear so many good things, about Nate.
That is why I couldn't understand why Jimmy (crabscrape) said the things he did on John (tmanhg)'s
post on finding one of Nate's discovery vams
viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1441

This is what Jimmy said below
Post by crabscrape » Sat Mar 16, 2019 6:00 pm

Wow! Nothing to seem to amaze me here! We had people die for this country that don't get this much respect! My father went through WWII, Korean, and Nam war! retired in 1968 with 28 years of service. I think people here ought to be ashamed of themselves to put others in front of them!!ing

After Jimmy reading my reply, at he bottom, Jimmy PMed me, with the emails below

The first email Jimmy sent me, is at the bottom and then each response is above that.
In other words, read, from the bottom up. Bert

Jimmy,
What you should understand, this is a site, devoted to vams and learning about them.
Chris and John were only commenting on one of Nate's discoveries.
I'm assuming you didn't get to know Nate.
He helped a LARGE number of people here, on Vamworld.
I just saw this post today, read it and see what others have to say.

I think it would go a long way, if you appoloigized, to John, on that post you made a fool of your self on.
My two cents, Bert

Bert,

I am not mad at you are nobody! You need to Grow Up!
I understand Nate had his friends and the little clicks just like a lot of others here. Nate is gone and its a shame that happen, but that is how life goes. You don't see anybody here buying Norm's discovery coins that has been posted are telling others they have found one. He is gone and had a lot more then Nate. The vam 35 is nothing special and everybody needs to get over that period!

Jimmy,
This is Vamworld, not the nightly news KID.
You are confusing the two.
You should be posting on Facebook or some media, like that.
GROW UP!
