Were these graded?
When in doubt... don't.

I'm having a degree of difficulty locating more 59's and 62's, and have until the end of February to find them.

This might be a record for the most 1878s VAM-59's acquired in a single month. It seems odd that more 58's are not being offered as they are more common than the 59's. Maybe people are starting to value and horde the coins, that would be a sign that the hobby is thriving.

Help in part from Gene Henry Coll - I was around with him when he was amassing LN'S
and bought about half of them for Gene.
At same time i was buying 1882 o/s & DMPL Morgans
as i could not get excited about the LN'S.
My bad - LOL
But in the end i bought more LN'S than Gene, then traded
and bought 1/2 of his LN'S that i still have today.
I cherry picked his LN collection & bought the higher grades
Still not my favorite-personal choices LOL

I issue a challenge to the VAMWorld members to put their graded San Francisco Long Nocks up for sale and see if anybody can buy more than 30 in a single month.

On average Heritage is selling a VAM-59 every 2.7 years, they are due to sell another in early 2021.

By all means fill in the boxes and show us what you have. There are no MS60 Long Nocks in the PCGS sets, I wonder if any MS60 Long Nocks exist at all.
