I maybe wrong 750.00 to 900.00 . The price has come down with more on the market and being attributed by TPG .

Thanks Kevin. I figured tops of about $675. I saw one on eBay for $1725, but seller wouldn’t budge under $1700. It is a very late die state though.

Same here Tom. I don’t sell. Do you happen to know the die state of the one that sold? Also what die states are the ones you have? If you have photos I would appreciate that. Thanks Dom

Once again everything should based on the die state. I have seen so many claiming LDS and they are lucky to rate a mid dies state. This is the reason the price is so cheap. I will try to look it up and compare the die states with Tom’s and mine. Once before we talked about the Top Pops in the SSDC Registrations. For the grades are high, but the die state should also be part of the judging process. I guess that’s the way it would work in a perfect world.

Please judge for yourself . if you consider Toms are a LDS so is the one that just sold .
That just my opinion . Check Stacks Bowers auction

Keith do you have a link for the one that just sold on Stacks and Bowers? As far as Tom’s go the AU58 is a LDS. The MS64 is not. I am in the process of doing study for EDS TO ULDS. Thanks Dom

Now lets not go to fast Mid die state LDS VLDS ULDS . I got my letters out from LVA . This 1923-P VAM 1C2 is said
to be LDS per LVA . Collar clash #2 UN of UNITED . One more point gouge at last Tara Ray 2/3 the way up . All
3 of my coins have this gouge or metal . Could be good pick up point .

The Bigger the Die Break under the O that makes the Tail
The better it is .

Keith thanks. I checked out the stacks auction. The coin is in deed a LDS, but not an ULDS When I put my study together I will post the results. The coin I have is a ULDS.
