it looks like a AU-55 1889 O Vam 1A2 went on Great Collections) for around 630 a few days ago. Though I am not certain it was Vam 1A2 it had the break on the reverse by the O so I am assuming it was.

There is a PCGS 1889 O VAM 1a2 on Ebay XF-45 for 1450 or best offer as well

1889-O VAM-1A in AU a few days ago on Heritage? There was one on Great Collections. I was thinking that was a 1A1. If I had thought it was a 1A2, it would have gone a lot higher. Good luck to the buyer.

You are right it was Great Collections , sorry. I was thinking it may of been 1A2 due to the crack/break on the O reverse though I could not tell if it had the double neck clash or see any of the other indicators. It was given a generous AU-55 in my opinion anyways . If it was just 1A1 it was overpriced for the coin for sure .
