I have no sales history for VAM 16 in any grade, so my default guess is Greysheet generic price.

VAM 16 is genuinely rare. I've seen it once out of 1000 coins. The obverse was used with another die pair and was still DMPL. It should be worth quite a bit, since it is both rare and cool, with the sunken reverse, but it has flown below everyone's radar.

Thanks much; Dennis H & JB for your response

This bird is a tough find and as JB says = Flys under vammers Rader Underappreciated.
I put it up For Sale with one response & the potential buyer stated he was not willing to pay a large
premium, so i guess i will try again, but cheaper. This kinda feels like one to stack away if i cant get
a premium of sorts. She is the best 81-O in 64 dmpl ive ever encountered, and i 've had a bunch.

Thanks Again from OREGON; Scott
