1883-O PGGS MS63 VAM-1C1 NAOH

Would appreciate estimates on what this coin would bring on market. Obverse and reverse surfaces are so very close to PL but PCGS didn't feel the coin warranted this description.

I've got a similar one. Interested in the responses.

Based on the auction prices that I have seen lately, MS63 Morgans aren't exactly commanding premium prices unless there is some remarkable toning. That said, I don't think that it is worth the price to pay for attribution since most collectors looking at the item will know what it is when they see it and bid accordingly.
I'm predicting a price somewhere around $70-80. Will have this coin going off to Great Collections so we.ll see what the actual, realized price is. If someone else would like to venture an estimate, I'd be glad to see it.
Guess I could always put the item on eBay and try the waters there.

Ask @dave700x
Believe it was he who inspired me to look for these buffed reverses a while back

I've never paid much of a premium for a 1C1. I think the premium die states would be a very early DMPL and VLDS 1C2 in MS and of course anything that qualifies as a 1C3. Ray Sanchez @raynat3 may have a better understanding of values than I.

I've sold 58s through 62s on eBay for $80-125. I think there is a bit of spread between the "picker's market" and the "buyer's market" for these... maybe BR should be pinged on this one (I have not the wisdom to @ someone here...)
I go totally NUTS for WOW! VAMs!! Or is that from WOW! VAMs?
Re: 1883-O PGGS MS63 VAM-1C1 NAOH
I don't sell so have not anything to base my opinion on. I think there is some moderate interest in these but like many VAMs that are not widely sought out, I think there is just a small premium over grey sheet unless you get into a TOP pop position and there is more than one person interested in it. Not much help, I am.
I saw a beautiful one at a Show a few years ago in 64 DMPL PCGS that was not attributed and I don't believe the guy knew anything about it and was asking way over PCGS price guide. I love these but had to walk away.
