Private messages hanging in Outbox

Anyone having similar issues?

I sent a PM to Lee that has been showing in the outbox since early this AM. The status indicates that it was sent. Lee has not replied; so maybe not. I just sent a PM to you and it is hanging on the outbox with a status of sent. If you reply before the outbox clears, then it may mean that hanging in the outbox does not mean that the message was not sent as long as the status is stated to be sent.

Well, the Outbox finally emptied, and I did get Loren's message. Just seems that the time to send PM's is taking alot longer than it should. Not sure if it's the nature of the beast on phpBB or there's a minor glitch. We'll see.....

It seems as though this is actually a feature. Messages stay in your outbox until they are read by the recipient. This gives you the opportunity to edit or delete an outbound message.

Thanks. I guess if I would have done a bit more research, I would have found that I like I just did. Appreciate your patience.

I am unable to find a link or button to send PM's. Receiving this message in the "Compose Message" text box: We are sorry, but you are not authorised to use this feature.
You may have just registered here and may need to participate more in discussions to be able to use this feature. ?????????

You need to post at least three times on the message board before being able to send a PM.

Now have posted at least three times....had hoped to attempt a PM to Messydesk, only to test the PM feature.
