LOL Thanks , you know what I love about these , very affordable , plentiful for now , they made lots of them , seems like even the wore down cleaned ones still carry that clashed E ... they make great gifts for kids ... nobody freaking out if they get touched or dropped . and you can pass on the VAM bug to even someone that has never seen a Morgan dollar .... might not be a MS 64 VAM 23A but it means something when you look at it like that . at least I think so.

Not sure why you can't post a JPEG. Even if they're large, the forum software will resize them appropriately so that you should be able to post. I'm wondering if something happened to the EXIF data that the forum doesn't like. Start with the original image again and try to upload it. Then remove the EXIF data if that didn't work and try again.

@Geseas Light Refractive Index.,,,, I even had to look it up so to make sure I had not made that phrase up  It has been way to many years between now and sitting in a physics class back then ...thanks again for all your help. Not bad for a cell phone picture . I have a ways to go yet and some bugs to work out , but I think I can work it out .

Hey Bob.

You got me thinking; again...

Regarding 'fishing' and the "@Geseas Light Refractive Index.,,,,"

I have a vintage microscope in my possession.

In the wooden box is a vile of a substance I am assuming was used to view objects with its many interchangeable optical lenses. (Some appear to be new.)

I would be happy to research what's in the vile. It must have something to do with imagery/refraction...

That vile of a substance in a old wooden box with the vintage microscope freaked me out so I just packed it away...
I am just reminded of my father doing the same thing with his left-over pack of DDT...

Hi G ,
I remember having to do that with the big lenses on those vintage type scopes in biology class back in the day .
I have discovered H2o does not preform well , a couple other substances so far researched are harmful to the fish so to speak, , so that won't do . Acetone is the winner so far , but I have contemplated Isopropyl alcohol, but maybe vodka, or Ever clear is better . If using vodka to fish you could at least drown your sorrows upon a failed attempt
