1878 7/8 VAM 36 obverse = II 1 or II 2 ?

1878 7/8 VAM 36 obverse = II 1 or II 2 ?

The listing catalogs the 1878 7/8 VAM 36 as a:
36 II1 - B/Ag (4TF) (179) I-4 R-4

But below that where it goes into detail on the obverse die, it says:
Obverse II2- Star 4 right is intact. ...
