I have never been successful with it. I always get the same error message about terms that are too common, yadda yadda...
When in doubt... don't.

The numbers "1921" are blocked if typed in that order!

I looked into this, and 1921 is blocked, but 1895 is not. Seriously. 1921 is too common and apparently turns up results all over the place.
Anyway, I changed the search settings so that the threshold for what is considered common is much higher and re-indexed the search database. You can now search for 1921. Searching for very common words like "and," "the," and, yes, "VAM" won't work, and you need at least 3 characters in a word to search for it. I'll move this thread to the "test feedback" forum later today.
