Process for updating missing wiki data (reed counts)

Process for updating missing wiki data (reed counts)

I'm wondering how to go about updating missing info in VAM listings, like reed count for an 1888-P VAM-11A, for instance. I picked an uncertified one up from eBay and counted the reeds just for fun. Should the page be updated without Leroy not having seen the coin, or it not being officially attributed? The reed count was 189 by the way.
