I think we can put the VAM 1E2 to rest as the the lower hair does not match the subject coin on the obverse and the neck-wing junction on the reverse is remarkably different-see images below.

In regard to VAM 11, it is true that the first 8 is temptingly close to the subject coin, but, the balance of the main obverse markers of VAM 11 preclude a solid match. They simply do not hold up to careful comparison. To take one example...the 2 of VAM 11 is doubled at the outside left, top & right of the upper loop. This is simply not the case for the subject coin which is only doubled at the right side of the ball. Result, a match to VAM 11 fails.

I am beginning to come to the conclusion that the subject coin is a new VAM, despite the close resemblance of VAM 15's date die cracks which I am now considering to be coincidental.
