I was looking through my Peace dollars, looking to see if I had Tom's 1922 VAM 26A and found my
1934 D VAM 3A, that I was lucky enough to see and buy a long while back.
Since I haven't been able to find any vams, for what seems like for ever lately.
I thought I would post it.

Beauty. I found one recenltly in a lot worse shape but it was a fun find. NO, not enough to get me to convert to the darkside but it was a fun find.

WTG Bert she is a nice coin . You have a keeper , my VAM 3A is also MS 62 .

While looking through my 1922 peace dollars, for your vam 26A Tom,
I saw a die break in Liberty's hair, that I had missed, all of these years.
In my defense, it is an EDS, but I should have seen it before.
I guess that is what happens to some of us, when we get old. LOL
I'm going to post it now.

Nice pickup! I am not sure of any doubled dies in Morgans which can match this one. Maybe Hotlips? Maybe Shifted eagle?

Dramatic doubling on the facial features, tiara rays. and inside the D make this Peace $ variety highly desirable. I have been picking raw VAM 3A for 24 years and still have not upgraded above an AU 58.
