Ok thanks Jody! Heres one...1886P Vam 1c MS65 DMPL, 1 of 3 top pop for PCGS for the vam, the only 1C DMPL listed in the registry.
It's also the first PCGS plate coin on coinfacts for the vam.
I had picked one raw, (not dmpl), off ebay and really love this vam and had to have this one when I saw it. Guess price paid.

Thankyou @UNCLE BINGO and @jrfaust I paid 1136.99 after the bids were done. I had looked it up and saw it was a plate coin and had looked up the pop on PCGS and the SSDC registry and also checked the PCGS price guide on just the 65 DMPL regular Morgan, (which I know is not what they sell for) which had it not far from what I paid. So thats how I justified it! haha glad I did, I love looking at it! It's the only DMPL I own.

Hoping this thing never gets a milk spot .Here are the hints . Purchased June of last year. Online auction with BP's that I wrote a check for to get it down to 10 % ... Heritage could take a lesson from GC on that for the buyers pocketbook anyway . When I bought it PCGS had that first strike nonsense at $3500. They now only think the first strike is about $2650 . Although it is the lowest mintage Eagle there are obviously lots of 70's because prices have fallen due to supply ..Guess the amount of the check I wrote that includes shipping to the house . I will have to go buy some avacados and a blow up doll for the winner...

@Jodemyer No avocado for you ,,,,,, Alright, alright I won't put any more eagles on ,,,, so so high .Truth be told winning bid was $1775.55 +BP with a slight discount ( 10%) for writing a check with the shipping , came to $1968.61 which is a lot of dam money for the " covid eagle "... Think I only bought it in memory of my old man , the ASE's were his gig . I however prefer Morgan dollars .... funny thing is I finally got it , locked in the vault with the rest of them and did not really think about it to much until we got on the subject of milk spots a week or so ago. Weird ,,,,, VAM"s are more fun IMO

now back to the game .......

These things are better with stories , so this is a work in progress story, live as it is happening,
Here are the hints , coin arrived in the mail today , advertised as 1904-O VAM 4 B Rusty Fishhook , NGC MS 64 NAOH...
V 4B is about as common as they come for a Hit list 40 and Elite clashed , list Morgan IMO . I looked and there are roughly 70 of them in the registry most hover about in that grade . Every kid should have one with a nick name like that , Right ?

Looked up price guides PCGS , NGC , SSDC etc , I did not need grey sheets , THEY HAVE SOME KIND OF THING against toned coins and I personally have no need for that publication unless I run out of toilet paper

THE NGC verify pictures were garbage , they were the old ones . The sellers pictures were shot on an I phone and I could NOT tell for sure what it was , But there is that ebay guarantee so , lets just say the VAM received was not the VAM advertised...

I sent the seller this note after the coin hit the house , because I have learned some things from all the good folks on this here website the past year and a half . Not sure how it will be received yet . After all I am not a senior Numismatist, by any means ... I am however "The Supreme Commander of beach party war games " which is great honor for a kid from the desert Who am I kidding I haven't been a kid for 40 years

Coin arrived today , I regret to inform you however the attribution advertised on EBay appears to be in error . Under a loop the coin appears to match either VAM 35A or 35B . It is not a VAM 4B "Rusty Fishhook" ... I have not shot pictures with the microscope to confirm the exact A or B designation and that may be difficult with the toning ..I realize that the coin and VAM are fairly common , and feel terrible about having to point this out . I do not believe there was any malicious intent on your part . Clashes occurring just a little bit off can sometimes resemble list coins . It happens even at PCGS and NGC all of the time . i am going to assume your shop will be closed until Monday . If you have any thoughts on how you would like to proceed , that would give me time to shoot pictures and provide corresponding screen shots from the VAMWORLD website for your convenience.

It's just a baby cud LOL, The reverse however is very colorful in hand ... I have mixed feelings about the deal . Figured it could be a teaching moment . We shall see

Update ,,,,, Seller turned out to be extremely cool . Think I will keep an eye out for a new face here on the VAMWORLD forum in the future . Maybe even a new member of the SSDC someday . We made a deal . AND @Jodemyer your first guess was close enough ... original deal was $154.00 for the listed VAM 4B ... seller offered a 20 dollar refund for the non list coin V35B or $134.00..
