I’ve a huge die break 1922-d no where found in any materials… I’ve discussed at length with T. Petrosie a friend and suggested I post or submit so I’ll do both…

If you were, anybody can help me I’d appreciate it. I scanned through 1000 Peace, dollars and Morgan’s a month and and we gladly compensate somebody for their time and effort I’m not doing this for any other reason but scientific but it’s nice to make money the 22 DP I have is shattered. It’s similar to all the ones listed or combination of all the obverses for breaks listed… that is.

Obviously, I don’t take the best pictures so I will have it done tomorrow by my assistant, who is better at this than me

The
Colonel was kind enough to send me the coin for examination. While I could not convincingly photograph any displacement across the die crack, it has a die gouge at the rim below O of GOD for which I will give it a new listing. Please give credit to the Colonel.

New 1922D VAM 1AA2 – II 1 - Die Gouge W, Die Scratch chin, Die gouge below O of GOD
B1a

I will post photos in a new thread when I am able.
