1887 P VAM-3A LDS.
Still rolling through some recent purchases and did not find any show stoppers but have found some decent clashed coins that aren't in horrible condition. Could not capture the n clash or the M clash, don't think I've ever been able to capture the M though. A nice, dual clashed coin.
Thanks for looking.
Jon.

Nice 1887 VAM 3A specimen. Thanks for sharing.

Re: 1887 P VAM-3A LDS.
A lovely variety that can easily be found in massively high grades (and inexpensive) making comparisons across the die use a lot of fun. SSDC registry has 2 in MS66, 2 in 65, 26 in MS64 and 21 in MS63 supporting this - but even more at 65 or 66 can be seen in the archives on Heritage or Great Collections.
Nice looking mess she is!

Hi Jon, great close up pics of the clashes. Like the 87 P's.

Thanks, everyone. keilg1, if you are not in marketing, you should be, I felt like I was in the middle of a wine commercial when I read your post.

Ha! I'll keep selling...
A bit of VAM-3A fun from my PCGS64 slabbed coin:
And a bit of fun with an NGC65PL VAM-3 preclashed beauty:
There are some REAL good lookers out waiting for you and your hands...

keilg1, thanks. Very nice grade and great job on the pics through the slab, I know how hard it is to get some decent ones through them. I've always appreciated high grade coins of any kind but have always been amazed that coins, such as yours, exist in that condition, well over 100 years old. Even though I appreciate the high grade coins, it's always been about the searching and finding, no matter what the coin looks like, to me, it's just a bonus, when it's a high grade.

Vam 3A is one that is very common but gets tougher in 64 & plus
This is a neat vam that has gotton popular and now commanding
a decent premium 64 & plus
A lot going on ie: multi clasher- die scratch wing MS 65 & 66 very
tough finds/ low pop dandies
I have around 100 + xamples with ms66 highest

Thanks, guys! Chris, I've just always loved the hunt, more than anything else, the rest, for the most part, is just white noise. I know this is off topic but just had the first 2023 P Lincoln cent doubled die listed.
