Dark side Pawn shop pic (Maybe. Maybe NOT)1923-D

So I took a visit to a local Pawn Shop yesterday that does not really do allot of coins . 1st time I have ever seen a Morgan or Peace Dollar in the cases. They have had a handful of silver rounds and some Junk quarters before , I think maybe a gold french frank { RAW } was the highlight of previously displayed inventory. This is over the course of a few years .

In the case looks like 2 stacks of 10 coins , probably an old bankroll with some 1921 Morgans and handful of Peace dollars. , Anyway Long story short I bought what I figured was the only coin still showing a little lustre (Maye be AU ish ) and it was the only one I would dare guess may have a chance at not getting a details hit .
I could see the crack at Y and figured it would be a piece of cake to attribute but the toning makes things harder for me , not to mention I have NO idea what to look for on a Peace Dollar
A couple times through the VAM WORLD pages have left me scratching my poor old bald head,,,, soooo what's next ????

I guess I paid a 5 dollar premium for it cause the last time i got mad at the Dark side i got approx 26 to 32 for some trading in on a harder date Morgan

Any hints here would be appreciated cause am not a Dark side guy at all.
I am not really getting the lustre in the pictures , even if the strike looks a little weak to me , hell maybe its XF and cleaned

In terms of grade, the obverse needs some work, but after a swim you're looking at either au58 or MS61 or 2.

The crack forming at the R appears to be off to me just a little bit , from the 1 H . I might have to give her an acetone bath before we get done with this to be sure . I was gonna try to do this without to much tampering but that might not be possible . I probably should go back to the Pawn shop with my loupe and buy / look at the rest closer / For cheap MAYBE I just can't see it very well...... Thanks G

I'll Have to try and get better pictures of any possible pony tail , cause the stuff at L looks pretty close , and the break at Y looks pretty close as well .

I clearly have a problem and may have to join @DHalladay support group after the second visit to the local Pawn Shop .... Hoping I won"t need professional help after dipping into the Dark side once again So why have just one in the bath when you can have 4 at once all soaking together. 3 peace and one 21-D Morgan that looked like it might have a scribble or two just for Dennis . I won't break any numismatic records with this behavior , but all in all it was cheaper than the marker bid I had at GC this week that has already lost horribly. We shall let them all have a nice long soak before anymore pictures , they were all very dirty girls

Had to kick two of them out of the bath ... hairlines.....Hairlines on Peace Dollar PTSD
I know I said no pictures BUT
I have discovered that acetone makes a very interesting Photographic filter Probably like looking at a wet paint job on a car....
@messydesk I can see the field hits now .... Too bad,,, how many points do I loose for that ????
