1889-P VAM-38?.

Post by johnhenry9009 » Thu Jul 27, 2023 1:31 am

I want to say it is a V-7A Die Sequence # 1 but I don't think it is that. Do too the Die chip on the first 8. Any opinions?

Not a VAM-7A. Date position is wrong, no dot on R of "LIBERTY". On your coin, note the over polished lower hair by the designer's initial and check and see if you have a double ear. On the Reverse, no die clashing is apparent (this is a clue to what VAM you have).
