1921-S VAM?
Hi y'all I have question pertaining to my 1921-S #1 I believe it has a railroad rim, and if it is confirmed that it is a railroad rim would that help to figure out the VAM or would it not? #2 The VAM is unknown as of right now but hopefully we can get that sorted out later. Here are the photos

I plan to collect VAMs and maybe discover new ones, but until then I'm just here.

Re: 1921-S VAM-? with an apparent railroad rim?
Not a partial collar. 21-S often looks this way as a result of the planchet not being sufficiently upset. On a partial collar, the reeds stop part way and then the rest of the coin is larger in diameter because the collar is not constricting the expansion of the coin there. If it were a partial collar, it wouldn't help identify the VAM number because a partial collar is a striking error independent of the die pair.

Thank you Mr. Messydeck, I probably should’ve done more research before asking that question.
