1880-O VAM Help Needed

I'm having a tough time matching up the O & R on this one. The date is clearly doubled, and the MM is medium O set (tilted) left. The O also has slight doubling on the bottom left outer edge.

I'd concentrate on the zero and disregard the other stuff until you've narrowed it down

Okay, examining images in the VAM book, I don't see a match for the zero (although I do see one in the 80-S section that looks like mine). What am I missing?

I'd take a long look at the VAM 15 markers here on our page. I'll add that the bottom of the mintmark on your example has been hit.
