1921-D VAM-1DL1 or 1DL2?

Post by ChrisPaulis » Tue Jul 11, 2023 3:22 pm

I could use help determining which VAM this is: The listing for 1DL2 describes a die chip to the left of E, but the photos include a coin like mine, where there are tie cracks but no triangular chip. Does it become 1DL2 with the cracks, which are not described or shown in 1DL1?

Yours looks like VAM 1DL1. The only photo that counts is Leroy's. The additional photo might actually have that chip, but it is lit such that it's hidden.
