1921-P Dropped R

Here is a coin I have had for quite a long time but decided to share....

At one time this die suffered a "filled die - R (TRUST) the "plug" that filled the R popped out and landed on this coins planchet only to become a "strike thru letter" error. This does not qualify it for a VAM designation but it is pretty cool. Sorry Dennis - she is not much for scribbles.

That is pretty cool! Definitely a one of a kind coin. Where did you find it? I have always found the story of how it was found to be as interesting as the coin itself.

This is a interesting coin you have here. I have never seen one like or heard of it. Have you ever seen another one besides this one?

Can something like this get the front page one day?

A lot of collectors catch on to the Top 100 and such, but it's always awesome to remind people that there are amazing oddities like this one to still look for. Or since it's an error and not a VAM it's not quite "VW material"?...

It is a Morgan, so it's a VAM!
