End of a looong dry spell

Post by Dirtdoctor » Fri Jun 30, 2023 5:39 pm

Haven't posted in quite a while, because I have not found anything of much interest in a while. Picked this uncleaned raw 1880 O VAM 49 Ear/Hangnail up last week. If it's as rare as description suggests for XF for better, I'm pretty happy with it.

Congrats! :D

VAM 49 is a personal favorite of mine that IMO is both very tough to find (essentially impossible in Mint State) and wildly underappreciated and undervalued.
When in doubt... don't.

Great Pick! VAM 49 is one of the emission sequence of the 8/7 spike and is IMO the second hardest to find in the wild. VAM 6D being the hardest.
I may not be the best, but I do not know anyone better.

Looked back at my ANACS orders and found that I had a VAM 49 that went AU 53 back in 2015. It's still around in my stash of picks.....
