Here are pictures of my 1904 O PCGSMS64 VAM 37A, with the die break
in the egale's right wing, that I was lucky enough to find awhile back.
They used to rate the vams, with an R value and it used too be rated,
as an R-7.
I'm not sure why they stopped that way of rating.
Enjoy, Bert

Re: My 1904 O VAM 37A
A nice broken mintmark and not easily found. I have one in PCGS 63 holder and tried to upgrade recently on a auction at Heritage. It was a PCGS 64 but I was the under bidder.
I may not be the best, but I do not know anyone better.
Re: My 1904 O VAM 37A
Thanks Kurt.
Thanks Patrick. What caught my attention first on this coin, was the little bit of a rim cud,
near the top of the obverse, above the P and R in PLURIBUS, then I saw the saw the very cool
die break on the eagle's right wing on the reverse.
