Ever since VAM collecting virus has been in me, I have waited many years to pick up this VAM for the price I could afford. Having only modest of income for big pricey VAMs, this one came to me by way of ebay auction for only $89. Though, in NGC "AU Details" holder, it is one of those VAMs in any grade it is considered a prize. Top 100 coin and only 12 in the SSDC club and only one ever auctioned at Heritage and that went for $576 in a PCGS AU 50 grade last year.

I may not be the best, but I do not know anyone better.
Re: Long Wait Is Over
Congratulations on finally acquiring that prize. It looks very nice for a details coin.
When in doubt... don't.

Yes, VAM 6D. I did wait until in hand to attribute because I'm aware that NGC doesn't always get the VAM numbers correct. It has all the reverse pups. I put the link to the VAM from NGC website to view.
Also, in the SSDC there is nothing higher than MS 60 in the group. Truly rare variety in the 1880/79 O VAM 6 sequence.
