1885-O O/O (non-12 and non-sawdust?)

I know the 85-O is riddled with sawdust issues so this might fall into that category. I can't poke any of the coin with a stick as it's in a PCGS holder, but if I could this might be easier to figure out.
First, I got this b/c I thought it might be a VAM-28 with the MPD... don't think it is b/c of the date placement and what I thought I saw as the MPD 1 digit might be an evil mimic (sawdust...).
Looking at the other PUPs, however, now has me confused. The ear is relatively clear, the hair D has at least 4 pronounced die scratches innit (as they say in the U.K.), the bow has defined scratches that don't quite align with the other pictures, and there is what appears to be a nicely upward shifted second mm that parallel many of the 83 and 84 O/O varieties - albeit rare for the 85 coins (and the VAM-12 being the only confirmed one).
Thoughts from anyone more familiar with the series?
First, FCPs:
Next, the potential O/O as this is the main question:
And the date:
Next will come additional PUP pics...
