@CascadeChris will be doing attributions there. It'll be a soft launch, accepting coins from the big investors first while they ramp up. First 10 coins graded will be winners of an open essay contest.

Human behavior historically suggests it'll have large negative consequences (aggressive survivalistic and territorial jockeying) as well as some positive outcomes, but it'll be unlikely to remain unchanged. Overall, perhaps, the meter will be undeflected, who knows, but it will be interesting to watch? And why I love studying the brain...

Ironic that CAGC also stands for 'chronic angle-closure glaucoma' that can have significant (negative) impacts on clarity of vision...

@CascadeChris
So for an FYI...TGA (The Grading Authority) Has been on line for all most 2 years. In that time we have PSA(PCGS), Beckett, SGC, CSG(NGC) and HGA ahead of us. Considering there were many ahead of us(Now Gone) in the past 2 years, we are now feeling kinda good. Have been picking away at the NE base. Going to be at FENWAY PARK next weekend!!! Take your time, don't listen to the nay sayers. We're holding our own, we have the capital to continue(You will need that!). Don't need to be number 1 (PSA). They've been here 30 years, we've been here 2! Doing just fine, keep going and don't look back!!!...kenny

Will be interesting to see if they will even grade problem coins. The CAC elitism might not take it there.

As some of you know, I have been doing early (flowing hair and bust) dollar varieties for the past few years. A HUGE deficiency at PCGS and NGC, even though they do now slab rather than do their traditional body bags, is that they do not report them in the census. For early American coins, that is ignoring many of the most important pieces. We track them at the SSDC Registry for dollars. I suspect EAC does so as well for copper. If CAC does slab problem coins and reports their populations accordingly, it will force the others to follow suit. On the VAM side, if one had an 1889 VAM-23A in XF Details for cleaning, it sure would be a welcome thing for whichever service's holder.

I have no idea on price, she's not for sale, so I can't guess a value. I honestly DON'T believe she's 1 of 1, I just think it's a matter of time before a better example emerges. I keep looking!

That 11A is one of only a few VAMs I actively look for. Hope they made more than one. It is remarkably tough.

Grading ws developed the community detrmine authentiity and grade for submitters, this providing a actual
reputable value as so designated on slab Some TPG decided to hire quality graders providing consisteny.
Along the journey some TPG were forced or refused to hire top tier graders and selected more condervative grading
overall, which has hurt the industry in both conservative & liberal trading perimenters

In the end its money that is King- End game resuls of value received for a coin, If PCGS coins did not top the
markets PCGS would not be # 1 service.

COME ON CACG- LETS SEE HOW YOU PLAY THE GAME!!
