No, silly, I'm not changing my focus from the light to dark side (just yet), but I am a stickler for updating information.
I see from http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.compu ... e_Clashing that there are supposedly less than a handful of clashed Peace varieties that actually have letter transfer:
Don't know when this table was created but is it still accurate? Don't want to force @davidkclose to answer so if anyone else knows the answer, please chime in?
Updated Peace clashing with letter transfer info?

The 'E on reverse' are truly elusive VAMS, almost to the point of abstraction. I think PCGS has one 1D2 and two 1BBs, one of which is misattributed and not actually 1BB at all. I haven't seen the others or looked it up recently.
Less than a handful of known clashed Peace specimens that actually have letter transfer is an accurate statement from where I stand. Even when the transfer is discernable it's just barely struck.

Brilliant and thanks for the clarification. I suspected this was the case but this is unfamiliar territory to me. I warmng up to the dark side...DarksideVAM wrote: ↑Sat May 06, 2023 2:30 amThe 'E on reverse' are truly elusive VAMS, almost to the point of abstraction. Add to the list - 1924 VAM 8B E on reverse behind eagle's neck & shoulder, similar to VAMs 1D & 1BB.
1926S VAM 1AF with partial E on obverse (from ONE) left of and slightly above Liberty's forehead.
I see a partial E in on 1923S VAM 3B (same position as 1926S VAM 1AF), but Leroy didn't agree. Photo is on the VAMworld page.
You are correct in saying that all are rare, it has been several years since I have seen another of any of these. I expect that there are more out there, but it will take many pairs of eyes & diligent looking to find them.

Pretty sure i found another e clash on a peace dollar. Position relative to the neck and jaw clash looks correct. I think i put it in my bulk order last month.
