The coin below seems to grade about AG3 to G4. It appears to be a slanted date with mintmark set high, upright and left. It appears not to be a (VAM 14, 14a1, 14a2) or (VAM 34, 34A, 34B) normal date with mintmark shifted left.
The mintmark itself appears to be of a narrow opening, oval 'O' type.
The slanted dates and near dates do not appear to exhibit shifted left mintmarks, but this slanted date seems to be an exception.
Is wear & die erosion negating the above analysis?
