I have only been looking at VAMs for a couple years and a lot of the ones I attributed early on have turned out to be wrong. I had some time this weekend and was going back through some to see if I had gotten them right. I have an 01 O that I labeled as VAM 65 and was surprised to not find the page. It had been moved to the dubious pile.
I think I may have the un-clashed version. If not, I don't know which it is.
I look forward to your thoughts.
Jonnie

And the Obverse has plenty of interesting pick up points.

It was moved because it hadn't been observed. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist. That said, the die polishing lines on your coin need to match those shown on the 65A page (and those on a 65A coin that aren't shown) exactly for it to be considered to be VAM 65. I can't tell from here if they do.

Thanks for the info. I'll add it to the pile heading your way.messydesk wrote: ↑Mon May 01, 2023 11:41 pmIt was moved because it hadn't been observed. It doesn't mean it doesn't exist.
