1897-S VAM-12 verification and posting pictures
If you all agree this is a VAM-12, I'll upload the pictures on the webpage as there are not any good ones yet.
Please note, too, that the VAM-12 and VAM-7 do NOT share the same obverse - the 12 is a very near date while the 7 is a near date. If this is in agreement, the webpage comment for both varieties should be corrected.

Whats tripping you up is that the pics on the VAM-7 page do not appear to be correct. Vam-7 & 12 do share the same obverse.

The obverse for VAMs-7 & 12 both have a small chip behind the cap band. They do have different reverses.

Thanks, @LateDateMorganGuy. Glad to hear I was able to see something as incorrect. The picture of the date is clearly incorrect but does this mean all the other ones are, too?

I don't understand your question.
Re: 1897-S VAM-12 verification and posting pictures
My original comment of the 7 and 12 not sharing the same obverse was because there was a disconnection - the pictures of the dates and other obverse PUPs clearly didn't match between the two. I didn't know what was incorrect - the pictures or the listing(s). Since you're saying the 7 and 12 share the same obverse (which I believe!), the comment on the individual pages do not need correcting. The picture of the date on the VAM-7 page clearly is incorrect - so needs to be replaced. This prompts the question if all the other pictures on the same page are incorrect; if so, they'll also need to be replaced.
If you and others are in agreement that the pictures of my coin are from a VAM-12 coin, I'll be happy to add them to the 12 webpage.
Sorry for any confusion,

All of the photos on the VAM-7 page are incorrect. As best I can tell, your coin is a VAM-12.

Yeah a lot of disinformation on our pages from what I see as well…

Amen. And every step in the right direction a good one?
@messydesk or @vampicker, if you agree this is a 12, I'll add pictures. What is your recommendation for the incorrect pics on the 7 page?

I can't tell where the photos on the VAM-7 page belong. I would need to see more of the subject coin.
