I have a 78s I am trying to attribute and I was wondering if the reverse of vam 55 was ever paired with the obverse of Vam 75. I know the obverse of Vam 55 was shared with Vam 35.
I thought I would ask before I posted pics. I appreciate your help as always in advance!
I also looked at 75a, just not sure because of the lines on the left wing.

75 & 55 are the same rev. 55 is later die state than 75.

The 35 and 55 definitely have the 'Phrygian Cap Markers' - scratch lines looking like a waffle, can't miss them; the 75 lacks them. Yours lacks them suggesting it's a 75...
The chip in the ear is odd similar - yours shows it suggesting a 75...
Your chip on the cap matches my VAM-75 so it still looks like you have a 75 obverse, which is different than the 55 obverse...
Do you see the following marker(s) below and to the right of the hair D (from my VAM-75 coin):
If yes, and the B of PLURIBUS is broken as well, I'd say you have a 75 obverse... paired with a 55 reverse... but if the 75 and 55 share the same reverse... you have a VAM-75?

@keilg1 Ok we got done with the trees earlier than I thought. Heres a couple pics. The markers/gouges to the right of the hair D look like a match to yours to me and the B is broken. So I am pretty sure the obverse
is Vam 75 mated to the 55 reverse. (I know they both share the same reverse but are supposed to have different obverses.) So, still bumfuzzled lol
(Also it is almost proof like on the obverse under the toning and it has a satin like appearance. )

Thanks!@keilg1 Yes and maybe someone can edit the wiki to remove #2 in my above screenshot that states, Fine verticle lines engraved in middle of Eagles left wing (Not on 1878S Vam-75) Since this one is a 75 and has the verticle lines of 55.
