This 1897 collection coin appears to exhibit tripled 8 & doubling inside top and bottom of lower loop...

Looks right to me. Does it have the two lines at the bottom of the cotton boils? Hard to see in your photo.

Thanks to fogie and blaircountycoin for responding...very right,I VAM 2 it is. All the markers imaged on the web page line up. See the curved lines below the cotton bolls and die scratches in the right wing below as examples...I see three 8s but TDITD. I don't see the line below the base in the 1 on the collection example , but instead see surface doubling...Thanks once more to f & b...much appreciated.
