1883-O NEW VAM 66 Questions

@fogie I would very much like to ask you to compare notes on one of your new discovery coins , the 1883-O, V-66 . I have never made it all the way to the very end of a VW page listing before but I very well may have today . It is missing from the attribution guides for bearded eagle or any antlers ,and I struggled with The CIH, but at the end of it I wrote V-66 on the spreadsheet , only to discover it is only a couple months old . Beside the pup's listed can you tell me if we have common markers ? see attached ......

That will work . Thank you. I had quite a few better shots .,before I hit the wrong trash can in the scope software and sent the pictures into oblivion . This will give me a chance to try and get the beard and antler clashing in one picture . I could not for the life of me find any letter transfer , no E , no M . and a whole bunch of nothing at the neck and hair . I would not be surprised if someone finds one in better shape or even an earlier die state that might have something more to add. Thanks again!

Is the marker in the foot of the T of LIBERTY present? if it is, you're done. If not, then it's not VAM 66. The clashmarks are irrelevant to the listing itself, but can be helpful for comparisons. It looks like they are in the same location from the images of your coin and the discovery piece.

Thank you for the comment Sir I will look tonight . I have open water after a long cold winter ' trying to catch fish today but the water is still pretty cold 🥶

Right now I am fishing on VAMWORLD for all the help I can get . Best way to describe it would be about half way between your house and Dennis. I only caught 1 fish . Second cast of the season . Maybe 2 lb rainbow .she was clear full of eggs . I put her back in the lake ...give it a couple weeks and the water temp will come up a hair . Then its game on !
