Discussion page Super boring nowadays compared to yesteryears!!
Guess its been mostly said and done, but with many old time hitters not here anymore
I see tons of new members posting, so maybe some hope
Many oldies including myself have elected to quit collecting & sell
Funny how prospectives change with age, and we get more tempermental as well

Maybe it wouldn't"t be as boring if you solved my 1879 and 1886 Vam issues from me. I would be most impressed and grateful.

I was told keep this a FUN thing . Sounds like you lost the FUN in VAMMING. You can help the Morgan collector
with your knowledge this could bring the FUN back

I am into the PEACE Dollars but will pick up a Morgan dollar sometimes . Age 75 ,stop collecting Peace dollar NO .
It is the hunt and the people you meet . Makes it FUN .

In my opinion boring is a strong word when used in this context, since there are still Morgan dollar varieties being found but just not in the same quantity of yesteryears. Because as you stated people's perspectives change and if you don't mind I would like to add another word to it “interest” since just like perspectives, interests also change. I believe it is less of a “boring” and more of a loss of “interest”. But this is just my two cents. .

No matter the hobby or segment of hobby, there are always people coming and people going. I'm frequently approving new members here. Some just drop by for a quick attribution, others stick around and get involved. The same thing happened in the early days of VAMWorld.

It could be called maturation.
