Does a 78-S VAM-44 commonly have a bow gouge?

Coin has a clear 14/44 (http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.compu ... ng_Feather/http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.compu ... 8-S_VAM-44) obverse with wickedly cool die chips/scratches:

With possibly a few extra ones not mentioned:

And the expected broken 4th right star and B of PLURIBUS:

And, as you'll hopefully agree, the http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.compu ... 78-S_VAM-6 reverse -- pictures to follow...

Expected VAM-6/44 reverse PUPs:

and

But do you see the gouge I think I do?

Clearly not seen on all the VAM-6 coins I own... Perhaps I see it on one of the photos on the VAM-44 page. But it's not listed nor mentioned.

Is this a normal part of the VAM-44 (and/or VAM-6)?
